For the first time in a while, I went to a gathering with quite a few people.

It was a pre-opening gathering for people taking on the β€œ10 Minutes of Writing a Day Challenge.”

These days, there is something I keep realizing from time to time, no, quite desperately. It is the fact that I like people more than I thought, and that I deeply want to connect more deeply and powerfully with a small number of people whose hearts fit well with mine. (I mean regardless of gender. Ah, of course, if I am being honest, I do like β€œwomen” more. I admit it.)

At the same time, on the other hand, maybe because I am not naturally the type to pour a huge amount of attention into others… I also feel that my pace of learning and getting used to communication is a bit slower than other people’s.

I stayed at the gathering for about three and a half hours, and honestly, my energy was completely drained, so I was knocked out as soon as I got home. Still, my mood was really good. Meeting people who share a similar purpose and talking about stories where each person’s colorful character shows through may be a very small everyday thing, but even so, it remained a valuable and precious memory for me. (It was absolutely not because the chicken, pizza, and beer were delicious.)

To keep stacking up these small but meaningful memories, I plan to keep attending various gatherings.

As an aside, the aftereffects of climbing 100 flights of stairs in the evening, getting completely drained at the evening gathering, and drinking two cans of beer at the second round all hit me at once as tipsiness and fatigue. Even while writing this, I do not know how many times I dozed off.

So I will write only this much for today and wrap it up here.
