[π] Today Was #202: Pro 20x, 300,000 Won, and Restarting the Cliff-Edge Tactic
β¨ GPT-5.5 Summary γ
A day of working through the full English translation of hyuk.blog and deciding to revive the development momentum I once had with Claude Code Max x20 for Tadak Bible and Haedrim, this time on Codex and a mobile development environment.
π Diary
Today I am continuing the full English-version translation work for the hyuk.blog blog. It is still in progress, so once it is complete I plan to connect it to a separate related post.
In the end, I switched to the Pro 20x plan. 300,000 won paid. It was not a button I pressed lightly. Codex definitely provides more usage than Claude Code, but once I built a mobile development environment and actually started using it continuously, the 5-hour/weekly usage allowance was draining too quickly. In this state, it would be difficult to properly push forward the development momentum that had finally restarted.
Actually, this is not a completely new choice. Earlier this year, there was a period when I ran pretty crazily with Claude Code Max x20. Tadak Bible was pushed especially densely from January to March under the direction of βdrawing closer to the Word through Bible typing practice,β and follow-up work such as payment, multilingual support, login, and web stabilization continued into April. Haedrim, an integrated administration SaaS for churches and nonprofit organizations, kept moving from February to mid-May through the site builder, tenant sites, admin features, content management, and deployment structure.
Back then, there was a real sense of throwing my whole body into development. I held on to Claude Code all day, stacked commits, pushed again when I got blocked, and endured while watching the product slowly take shape. But at some point it felt as if those development cells had switched off, and the feeling of pushing in earnest disappeared for a while.
Recently, though, while fixing the blog, building a mobile development environment, and continuing to run Codex, that feeling has been coming back. So this payment is less a simple upgrade and more a restart of the cliff-edge tactic. The development cells that had once gone quiet have started moving again, so this time I am choosing to hold that momentum in place with money and environment.
What remains is to keep running with the momentum I have now. The English blog translation, the mobile development environment, and Codex usage all need to come down from talk into actual use. This is no longer βI should do it somedayβ; I have already put 300,000 won, time, and a system on the line.
