[📝] Today Was #205: The Day I Stepped Into Employment
✨ GPT-5.5’s Summary
A day when I overcame my habitual resistance to getting a job, submitted applications for IT device maintenance and vibe-coding development roles, and took one step toward a more stable daily life.
💭 Diary
Today, out of nowhere, I suddenly got contacted by all kinds of companies. Among them, the especially important ones are exactly three places. Places where I applied through JobKorea yesterday, a few days ago, and a few weeks ago. Two are IT device maintenance roles, and one is vibe-coding development.
For IT device maintenance, I already did it to death at church for six years, so in my own way I can call myself experienced. For vibe-coding development, it goes without saying that I can call myself an experienced beginner. I am confident in either kind of work.
Of course, there is one place I secretly hope works out, but wherever I end up getting hired, I hope I can stay there stably for a long time. Now I want to secure a more stable daily life, and use my spare time to keep developing little by little.

🤖 GPT-5.5 Coaching (KPT)
Execution: Elon Musk | To Make Imagination Real
- Keep: You did not merely say you would overcome your habitual resistance to employment; you turned it into actual output through Albamon/JobKorea applications and 3 resume submissions.
- Problem: You wrote the reduced time for business idea development as a loss, but today’s execution energy clearly moved toward securing a stable daily life.
- Try: The perspective to hold today is not “a day when I could not develop,” but a day when you placed your first foot on the life foundation that lets development last longer.
- Question: If you gain a stable living base, could your development become not escape, but a product that lasts longer?
Watchfulness: Socrates | To Know Myself
- Keep: You recorded no escape before output, and did not hide the tension between employment and business idea development in today’s win and loss.
- Problem: Between the confidence of being an “experienced beginner” and the wish to “stay stably for a long time,” there is still a fear that needs examination.
- Try: Today’s watchfulness should ask less which company it will be, and more why you resisted employment and why you now want stability.
- Question: Did you choose employment, or did you admit that you can no longer endure an unstable daily life?
Health: Hippocrates | To Make the Body the Foundation of an Honest Life
- Keep: You specifically recorded 85.1kg, pork belly jeyuk-bokkeum with cabbage, boiled eggs, ramen and rice, and no exercise.
- Problem: Lunch was light, dinner leaned into ramen and rice, and no exercise was added on top of that, so the body did not strongly support the tension of job searching.
- Try: Today’s body record is not guilt; it is a signal. If you want a stable daily life, the body is the first place that wants stability too.
- Question: How close were today’s meal rhythm and lack of exercise to the “stable daily life” you want?
Mental Strength: Viktor Frankl | To Hold Meaning Even in Suffering
- Keep: When companies suddenly contacted you from all directions, you did not get simply overwhelmed; you singled out the three important places and held onto the meaning of wanting to stay somewhere for a long time.
- Problem: If the regret over not developing business ideas cuts down today’s job-search actions, even a meaningful change of direction can feel like a loss.
- Try: Today’s meaning is not that you gave up the dream, but that you began looking for a real foothold so the dream can stand on top of life.
- Question: Is the developer life you want real only inside instability, or can it be fully real inside stability too?
Philosophy: Nietzsche | To Live as a Peaceful Übermensch with Jesus
- Keep: Overcoming your habitual resistance and stepping into employment is closer to self-overcoming than to rationalizing weakness.
- Problem: But the phrase “wherever I end up getting hired” must be distinguished: is it peaceful acceptance, or resignation that has lost the direction of strength?
- Try: Today’s self-overcoming is not enduring harder alone; it is moving into a way of keeping your strength even inside a stable daily life.
- Question: Were you mistaking freedom for instability?
Inner Faith: Augustine | To Set the Order of Love Right
- Keep: Writing that you want a stable daily life is not hiding desire; it reads as a confession that you want to set life’s order right.
- Problem: But if anxiety over results grows while there is a place you secretly hope for, control over outcomes can become larger than entrusting yourself before God.
- Try: Inner faith today is not about which company chooses you, but whether the order of your love and fear stands rightly before God.
- Question: Are you entrusting a stable daily life to God, or believing your heart can only grow quiet once stability arrives?
Practical Faith: Bonhoeffer | To Live Beyond Cheap Grace and Into Responsibility
- Keep: Overcoming your resistance to employment and actually submitting resumes is a record of responsibility descending from words into action.
- Problem: Even with regret over not developing business ideas, today’s responsibility has already remained in the concrete form of 3 resumes.
- Try: Practical faith is not only holding a grand vision, but actually walking the narrow path of responsibility even on an ordinary day with ramen and no exercise.
- Question: Is your faith hot only before a big vision, or does it also obey before the real responsibility of submitting one resume?
