[📝] Today Was #229: AI Safety and Health Show, People Come First
✨ GPT-5.5’s Summary
A day at KINTEX’s AI Safety and Health Show, looking through safety gear and solution UI while feeling again the force of good conversation with good people.
💭 Diary

This afternoon, I left from the company and attended the 2026 AI Safety and Health Show, part of Industrial Safety and Health Month, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2.

I had not been to a large exhibition like this recently, and since the event name had “AI” in it, I was quietly expecting to see some genuinely novel products.

Honestly, though, it felt much more like a safety-equipment exhibition with AI added to the name than an AI-centered show. Safety harnesses, vests, protective gear, gas detectors, and field equipment were far more prominent.

Still, there were occasionally software solutions with AI built in. Those were useful references for UI/UX structure and intuitive feature placement. It was fun to see which functions they put forward, how they grouped information into cards, and how they displayed field data on a single screen.

Some companies used things like a popcorn machine to draw attention. Companies that gave a small reward for submitting a business card or signing up for an email subscription definitely caught more attention than those that simply displayed products. In the end, an exhibition also needs a device that makes people stop and start a conversation.
It was also good to walk around with the director and talk about many different topics. Hearing stories about all kinds of company attempts to combine software with hardware was so enjoyable that I lost track of time.
Yes. The best thing is not where you go, but who you go with. Sometimes, before what you talk about, who you talk with comes first.
People come first after all.

🤖 GPT-5.5 Coaching
Execution: Elon Musk | To Make Imagination Real
- Judgment: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Both improving the data collection structure and attending the exhibition turned into actual action, and it was good that you did not simply attend but observed UI/UX and attention-building devices. Still, today’s execution stopped at field observation, so the next key is compressing what you saw back into product work.
- Question: Among the screen structures and participation hooks you saw today, which one could create the biggest difference with the smallest change if moved into the company product or workflow?
Watchfulness: Socrates | To Know Myself
- Judgment: ★★★★☆ (4/5) There was no escape recorded, and you did not hide the disappointment that an expected AI show was mostly about safety equipment. Still, it is worth asking whether the good conclusion that “people come first” is covering the disappointment of the field too quickly.
- Question: Was today’s joy mainly from the good conversation with a good person, or from the feeling that you were learning in an unfamiliar field?
Health: Hippocrates | To Make the Body the Honest Basis of Life
- Judgment: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Walking 14000 steps was clear activity, but the total
2505kcaland the convenience-food-plus-rice-bowl dinner leaned more toward immediate filling than recovery. If you want to stay around 85.0kg, the more you walk, the more honestly you need to look at meal quality. - Question: Did the fact that you walked a lot make the weight of dinner feel lighter in your mind?
Philosophy: Nietzsche | To Live as a Peaceful Übermensch with Jesus
- Judgment: ★★★★☆ (4/5) It was good that you did not end the gap between expectation and reality in cynicism, but drew learning points from software UI and conversation. Strength does not come only from seeing impressive products; it also comes from observing and reinterpreting ordinary fields.
- Question: Beyond the feeling that “this was not much,” what observation from an ordinary-looking field could you turn into strength?
Inner Faith: Augustine | To Put Love in the Right Order
- Judgment: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Ending with “people come first” shows that today’s heart was set more on relationship and conversation than on performance or novel technology. Still, it is worth checking whether that order of love led to gratitude before God or remained only at liking people.
- Question: Were you also seeing the person and conversation that made you glad today as gifts received from God?
Practical Faith: Bonhoeffer | To Live Responsibly Beyond Cheap Grace
- Judgment: ★★★★☆ (4/5) You carried out the company work and the exhibition attendance, and the record shows responsibility in trying to connect what you saw in the field back to work. Where faith descends into action, what matters is not grand language but faithfully seeing, listening, and learning in the place given to you.
- Question: If you keep today’s conversation and observations responsibly, what small form of faithfulness will they remain as?
📖 GPT-5.5’s Recommended Bible Verses
Colossians 3:23 (NKR)
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for people.
Context: Paul exhorts believers to treat everyday roles and labor as faithfulness before the Lord.
Reason: This verse helps you see company work and exhibition attendance not as mere schedule items, but as faithfulness in the place entrusted to you.
Proverbs 27:17 (NKR)
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Context: Proverbs speaks of how counsel and interaction in relationships shape a person.
Reason: It connects directly to the way today’s conversation with the director remained as the day’s central joy and learning.
Micah 6:8 (NKR)
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Context: The prophet says that what God desires is not showy sacrifice, but justice, mercy, and humble walking.
Reason: It helps hold today’s conclusion, that people and responsibility come before technology, in a direction of faith.
