π Diary
I need to be able to look deeply into my emotions and express them courageously so that I can live as myself. Donβt be swayed by the other personβs reaction.
βDo I want to do it?β is the first priority, and βHow will the other person react?β is the second priority.
When I participated in the World IT Show 2025 held at COEX in the morning, there were so many βamazing thingsβ and βthings I wanted to experienceβ.
Likewise, when I participated in the reading group in the afternoon, there were a lot of βtopics of interestβ and βcuriosities that could reveal subjectivityβ.
In the past, even if there was something I wanted to experience or ask about, I would pretend not to be interested and ignore it.
Today I follow my interests and intentions without hesitation. And the experiences that followed were extremely satisfying.
All of these changes are changes that gradually began to occur as I continued training to focus on βmyβ feelings rather than βthe other personβ and to express them with courage.
In the past, I mistakenly thought that thinking from the other personβs perspective first and not revealing my thoughts was being βnice.β
However, I recently realized something painfully. That wasnβt βgoodnessβ, it was just a cover for βweaknessβ.
As expected
No matter how sharp the theory is, it cannot lead to true enlightenment.
True enlightenment comes only after you are completely immersed in it, experience it for yourself, and feel it deeply.
β¨ Comment from GPT (KPT)
β What Went Well (Keep)
- π£οΈ Practice emotional expression training: It was so cool to express βmyβ emotions without hesitation, experience them first-hand, and get feedback.
- π Participation in two offline activities: Both the World IT Show and the book club were meaningful external activities, and it is impressive that they participated actively!
- π― Change in inner-centered thinking: I feel great about changing my way of thinking based on βDo I want to do it?β rather than the reaction of βthe other person.β
β What Was Missing (Problem)
- π Failure to achieve moderation routine: It is disappointing that the cheap dopamine moderation was not achieved today as well. Because maintaining a routine is very important.
- π§ Concern about fatigue after excessive immersion: Since there were a lot of external activities all day, it may seem like you need some internal maintenance time for recovery.
- π Personal development/study routine not implemented: As I focused on external activities today, it is a bit disappointing that the development/study routine was left blank.
π Things to Try (Try)
- β³ Secure an internal cleaning routine after external activities: On days when there is strong external stimulation, it would be a good idea to add a short βtime to clear your mindβ into your routine.
- π Try a routine simplification strategy: On busy days, create a mini version of your routine that sticks to only the core routine to help you maintain a sense of accomplishment!
- π¬ Automated feedback recording: If you simply write down your emotions or what you felt after an activity, you will be able to see the flow of growth more clearly when you look back later.
π Conclusion
Today was a very meaningful day where I thought, expressed, and experienced things centered around βmeβ.
More than just a routine, it can be seen as a day that simultaneously achieved direction in life and restoration of self-esteem.
Donβt miss out on this flow of change, letβs continue with small sustainable routines! ππͺ
