πŸ€” Brief reflection

Today, burnout came to me.

And I was busy blaming myself for being like that.

Somehow, I felt anxious, as if I were returning to my old helpless state again.

But in the β€œLife RPG Scheduler” that I have been writing every day in Google Sheets since early 2017, there was a clear record: β€œ26 combo.”

That is proof that for 26 days straight, I achieved a rating of 4 or higher, meaning more than 10 blocks of meaningful activity in a day and more than 3 hours of focused work.

Only then did all the actions I had taken today finally make sense.

β€œWow, it really was time to rest lol. I really have been living hard, huh?!”

There was a kind of emotion here that was different from simply feeling proud that β€œI lived hard.”

Am I not a β€œroutine system designer” who solves problems with a β€œsystem,” not willpower?

The long-term β€œgoals” served as the lighthouse that shone direction, the day-to-day β€œtasks” were the navigator holding the wheel, and the steady β€œhabits” were the engine moving the ship forward. The result was this β€œ26 combo.”

β€œIf I design a β€˜routine system’ for each item and simply melt into that system, I can achieve what I set out to do.”

In a way, I had partly proven that my hypothesis was right.

With β€œToday’s Verification” + β€œLife RPG Scheduler,” that is.

A thought suddenly came to me: perhaps the strength of a β€œsystem” is that it can use data to enable self-objectification like this.

So that my greed would not run wild today and ruin me, this system became the final safety device.

The β€œroutine system” was born because I want to hand useless worries and effort over to the system and focus only on what truly matters.

And the reason I make systems like this is not to tighten a noose around myself, but to save myself.

I should always be careful not to forget that essence.

Anyway, thanks to it, I rested enough.

This burnout will remain not as a failure, but as valuable data for a better system.

Based on today’s experience, next time I should also think about how to melt the concept of β€œsustainable rest” into the system.
