These days, something feels strange.

I strongly feel as if I keep missing the essence of something. Whether it is development, the blog, dieting, whatever…

β€œExplore the essence of everything. Do not dig only into what is visible.” This is a line written in my insight/reflection notes.
I do not know whether I came up with it or picked it up somewhere, but one thing is certain: it is an insight I had been missing.

What is the best thing to do in order to explore the essence of something? At least from my experience, constantly asking deeper questions is the best.

The first thing that came to mind was the blog. I feel like the blog is being used differently from my original intention when I started it.

What is the purpose of writing a diary on my blog every day?

I cannot point to one thing and say, β€œThis is the essence,” but by this point a rough sketch is forming.

The fact that I have recently been β€œspending 2 to 3 hours writing the blog” is far from the essence of purpose A, and it gets in the way of the essence of purpose B.
