Yesterday, the GitHub blog work was so fun that I ran with it like crazy until dawn. The aftereffect is that my body is soaked in sleep deprivation and fatigue.

There are things I have clearly been realizing lately, so today I will just share those briefly and rest quickly.

  • A person, at least I, needs at least about 6 hours of sleep guaranteed.
  • A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body, and a healthy mind makes a healthy body. (a virtuous cycle)
  • Thoughts evaporate, but habits are engraved.
  • Things like self-control/willpower have a daily quota.
  • Convincing promises/bets/commitments made with others greatly reduce the amount of self-control/willpower consumed.
  • The cheap dopamine from games/YouTube is a kind of drug.
  • Distraction causes mistrack.
  • There are very few people who can do even 10 push-ups every single day for 365 days without missing one day.
