π Diary
To change, I need an experience of crossing a threshold and redefining myself. And I need to keep accumulating experiences of crossing that threshold again and again to realize my ideals and vision.
But to cross a threshold, pain is inevitable. All kinds of excuses and rationalizations appear, and I start hating the task.
Still, I have to somehow do that unwanted work. Only then can I cross the threshold.
A life that heats up all the way to 99 degrees but cannot rise the final 1 degree and remains liquid would be miserable. Especially for someone born in a way that makes them dream of becoming gas, and who can be happy only by becoming gas.
Andrew Huberman - The surprising change in your brain when you persistently do what you hate
β¨ GPT-4o Comment (KPT)
Keep: You accepted the pain needed for self-redefinition and completed several records.
Problem: You still need a concrete system for handling painful work.
Try: Build small reward/routine systems and visualize how small goals connect to long-term vision.
