✨ GPT-5.6 Sol’s Summary

실행★★★★☆회고★★★★★건강★★★☆84.3kg

A day when I let go of expecting AI to do everything in one shot and reconsidered both UI/UX and the way I use AI.

💭 A Brief Diary of Today

Anything that pops out just because I said, “Make me modern, clean UI/UX,” is ultimately garbage. I regret that I expected, even a little, that asking for everything in one shot would produce something meaningful.

AI has not advanced enough for me to have the whole thing handed to me on a plate. Not yet.

No matter how efficiently AI compresses and organizes the vast amount of context stored in my head and the vast amount accumulated across different departments since the company was founded, it is still a long way from matching the contextual capacity of a biological brain. Not yet.

That must be why we keep thinking up every kind of methodology—Second Brains,[explanatory note] LLM Wikis,[explanatory note] and whatever else—and why all those specialized services for specific fields are still surviving.

If I start by setting a Goal and watch the tokens gently melt away, it feels as if I am working hard. I have realized again that I was really just throwing money into thin air.

After wasting this much time on UI/UX design, part of me wonders whether I should finally pay for Figma AI and use it… but for now, I will keep that as the last resort.

Now I know how lazy it is to rely on AI’s one-shot magic. Now I know how reckless it is to trust a flash of inspiration and intuition and just start building without thinking.

I need to break free from the fantasy that I can accomplish anything alone as long as I have one AI beside me, and become humble. (Of course, it might be possible if I learn to use AI “better,” but right now my ability is not there yet.)

I need to recognize that my bulldozer-style conversational prompts can disrupt the AI’s working context, and become humble.

Once I equipped myself with some humility, my eyes finally opened. Come to think of it, the internet is already full of good UI/UX examples built over years by pioneers in the field working together with countless people, isn’t it?

Imitation is the mother of invention.

For now, I will search for and study plenty of good examples, feed them to the AI and to my own head, and let us learn together.

🤖 GPT-5.6 Sol’s Coaching

I reviewed today’s record from three perspectives: execution, reflection, and health.

Execution: Elon Musk | To Turn Imagination into Reality

  • Verdict: ★★★★☆ I completed all three company goals and turned the UI/UX redesign into concrete work spanning implementation review, documentation design, competitor references, and a change in planning method.
  • Coaching: What I closed today was not the finished screen itself, but the work of stopping a failed approach and rebuilding the design method. Distinguishing the name of a large goal from the unit actually completed keeps the next judgment clear.

Reflection: Socrates | To Know Myself

  • Verdict: ★★★★★ Rather than stopping at blaming AI’s limits, I faced my own one-shot expectations, reliance on intuition, improvised conversational prompts, and current level of ability.
  • Coaching: Today’s humility is closer to recognizing what I do not know and which method failed than to putting myself down. The decision to learn from strong existing examples also came from seeing reality more accurately than vague confidence would allow.

Health: Hippocrates | To Make the Body the Ground of an Honest Life

  • Verdict: ★★★☆ I walked 11,000 steps and stayed within my intake target at 1,546kcal with a strong meal composition, but did no strength training and averaged 2,049kcal over the last seven days.
  • Coaching: Today’s activity and intake favored weight loss, but my weight rose by 0.3kg over the last seven days, so this balance cannot yet be called a sustained trend. The body record distinguishes a well-managed day from a pattern that continues.

Psalm 131:1 (translated from the Korean Revised Version)
LORD, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty; I do not pursue great matters or wonders beyond what I can bear.

Context: In a song of ascents attributed to David, the speaker confesses a posture of lowering the heart before God rather than exaggerating his own capacity.

Why this passage: It steadies the humility I found today when I left behind the illusion that I could accomplish anything alone with a single AI and admitted the limits of my present ability.

Proverbs 2:2–4 (translated from the Korean Revised Version)
Turn your ear toward wisdom and set your heart on understanding; call out for knowledge and raise your voice for understanding; seek it as silver and search for it as hidden treasure.

Context: A teacher in Proverbs presents wisdom as something that is not acquired automatically, but must be sought actively with attentive ears and a willing heart, like treasure.

Why this passage: It grounds today’s turn away from expecting an answer from a single request and toward searching for many strong UI/UX examples and learning from them as the diligent pursuit of wisdom.
