💭 Diary
First we make our habits, then our habits make us - John Dryden
Starting now, the Monday-Friday gym + boxing gym attendance check challenge begins.
How to have a healthy mind/body in a healthy body/mind.
I’ve always wanted to learn boxing, but after putting it off my whole life, I finally got the chance to start.
For the first time, I received guidance from a coach, and even though I only did basic exercises and step practice, I was exhausted… I held on somehow and finished the last 1R by hitting the punching bag with a jab. At every moment, I became acutely aware of how poor my physical strength was.
Anyway, I thought I would just go to the boxing gym and jump rope, but it was good that it stimulated interest so that I could experience various things in my own way, and the friendly coaching was also good.
However, I am anxious as I am already experiencing some pain in my knees/calf area when I walk.
Never overdo it to travel consistently from Monday to Friday.
❤️ Thank you
- I am grateful to the professor who met me after a long time, shared daily life/thoughts/good words, and bought me a meal.
- I am grateful to the coach who kindly introduced me to boxing.

✅ What Went Well (Keep)
- 🥊 Starting boxing & long-term registration: I like that it is not just an experience, but a foundation that can be continued through 6-month registration.
- 🏋️♂️ Refining exercise routine: It’s great to set a goal of attending the gym and boxing gym from Monday to Friday, and to establish healthy habits.
- 🔄 Reflection of Startup Mentoring Feedback: It is impressive that rather than simply submitting an application, they reflect the feedback and try to develop it further.
❌ What Was Missing (Problem)
- 📌 Need to adjust exercise intensity: I experienced the limits of my physical strength from day one, and I feel like I need to adjust my pace to make it sustainable in the long run.
- 📝 Development-related execution unrecorded: I chose the Flutter course, but I think it would be better to organize a specific plan for when and how to learn.
- 🩹 Injury risk management required: As it puts a lot of strain on your knees and calves, it may be a good idea to add stretching and recovery routines to prevent injuries.
🔄 Things to Try (Try)
- 📑 Exercise Intensity & Pace Control: Set a weekly goal and increase your physical strength by gradually increasing the intensity.
- 🎯 Establishing a study plan for Flutter courses: Let’s make it a habit to organize learning goals on a weekly basis and record a learning log.
- 🦵 Added injury prevention routine: Take care to prevent injuries by stretching sufficiently and using a foam roller before and after exercise.
🏁 Conclusion
Today was the day I started boxing, which I had put off for a long time, and took the first step toward creating a healthy routine! 🎯 Let’s move forward while controlling the pace so that we can continue steadily in the future! 💪🔥
