I used to enjoy putting emojis in titles to classify categories.

But⦠one day, when I checked the index on Bledex, a large number of posts had suddenly changed to omitted.
After getting hit by an omission bomb, I felt slightly dizzy.

When I searched to find out what was going on, I found a post saying that emojis are not recommended because they can interfere with search keyword exposure.
I felt the need to test and confirm whether that was really true.

First, I tried searching on Naver Blog with double quotation marks around the title.
Sure enough, I confirmed that a post that definitely should have appeared in search was not being found.

As soon as I confirmed the problem, I removed emojis from every post.
And after removing the emojis, every omission was lifted, and I confirmed that search was working normally again.
When managing a blog, there are times when your heart drops after seeing the index suddenly fall like this.
Honestly, a blog index seems like no big deal, but it also feels a bit like losing experience points when a game character dies.
Seeing my emotions swing this much just because a low index might block the blogβs growth potential makes me think I must like blogging quite a lot.
