βModelsβ p169
I want to change the world through development,
communicate with the world through my blog,
and serve the world through ministry.
This is the direction of my honest life.
There is nothing complicated about standing out meaningfully within each population characteristic.
I only need to ask myself and become more and more honest.
Have I really lived according to an honest lifestyle?
No. I did not listen to my honest voice.
I had defined myself as a developer for a long time, but for the past four years or so, I was doing church ministry rather than development.
Of course, that ministry was also a decision I made by following my honest voice, but deep in my chest, development was always my first priority.
The reason I could not do that development was that I did not know very well how to control myself properly.
So perhaps establishing my identity and moving forward as a routine system designer was an inevitably necessary process. On this path, I will become more honest.
Right now, I am confident that I am living according to an honest lifestyle.
I want to change the world through development, communicate with the world through my blog, and serve the world through ministry. This is the direction of my honest life.
I could find a similar context in pages 167-169 of Models.
The book says, βPursuing an honest lifestyle means pursuing oneβs passions as much as possible. β¦ Do not stop at merely pursuing your interests. Try becoming a leader in that field. β¦ Dominate that population characteristic.β
The βhonest lifestyleβ and the domination of βpopulation characteristicsβ mentioned here resonate strongly with the current me.
There is nothing complicated about standing out meaningfully within each population characteristic. I only need to ask myself and become more and more honest.
Then the things I truly want to dig into will emerge, and if I continue doing those things as I am drawn to them, at some point my position will rise to a meaningful level within that population characteristic. This is honest growth created by myself.
