I am the type who enjoys periodic meat transfusions.
This time I was craving chicken after a long while, so I decided to have chimaek with an acquaintance,
and this place was somewhere that acquaintance recommended.
Spoiler in advance:
it was one of the crispiest and tastiest half-and-half boneless chickens in my life, easily Top 3.
β¦Do I have an eraser in my head?
I do not know why my best-of-life rankings keep changing.
Anyway, among every chicken I ate this year, this was definitely number one.

There is a ramen place on the first floor, and that place somehow looks tasty too.
I should try it later.

The atmosphere inside is a typical hof.

It must have been around 8 p.m., and the seats were almost full.

I am completely on team boneless chicken, so I was nervous in case the acquaintance who was treating me preferred bone-in chicken.
Thankfully, they were team boneless too.
π Nice!
Ordering only soy sauce or only seasoned chicken would feel sad.
So we ordered boneless half-and-half.

For beer, just a straightforward 500 cc of Cass each.

Ta-da.
Honestly, if you only look at the photos, there does not seem to be much to review.
It looks like an ordinary hof and an ordinary chicken place.
The popcorn was normal, the chicken radish was normal, the cabbage was normal, the fries were normal, the beer was normal.
Literally everything was normal.

Butβ¦
What if we look at the chicken this closely?
Can the insane harmony of crispiness and tenderness I felt come across
I originally had absolutely no thought of reviewing this chicken place.
The photos above were just taken routinely for my personal daily record.
But the moment I bit into that chicken, I immediately decided I had to post it on the blog.
Even now, when I remember the rough sensation on the top of my tongue scraped by that crispy chicken, my stomach roars.
If you want chimaek near Hapjeong Station,
I recommend visiting at least once.
You will probably end up full of thoughts of going back, just like me.
And for reference, this meal was paid for by my acquaintance, so it is not a self-paid review.
Therefore, there is no separate receipt.
But hey, this kind of thing runs on faith~
